If that was a club Nuc, the bee guy may provide another queen? (not sure how that would work)

Do you have a mentor? Do you need someone to verify?

I had one queen give me pause when she laid quite a few drones in worker cells..... I'll know if she's gone bad on the next inspection.

If there is no worker brood present it is very likely you have what is called a Drone Laying Queen, its possible She did not get mated well and has run out of sperm.

Or you have a Laying Worker (no queen). It is said that a laying worker is the most difficult to correct.

Is this a club nuc or a different source?
