    Hello, 

    My name is John Piper and I have recently obtained a swarm that landed in my yard a few weeks back. My neighbor who is a first year keeper helped me catch it and gave me a small ten frame hive to get started and I’m looking for help. I live in the downtown Hillsboro area.

    Hi John.  Andrea and I live near NE 9th & Jackson.  We would also be able to talk about bees.  We got a TVBA NUC in April and a swarm a month ago.  Both doing great.  I have some knowledge from keeping years ago.
