This is a perfect example of why we need a club roster.

Bee Rescues need a more timely method of notification, rather than email.

A phone tree or leave the Swarm Notification system operational, would be more effective.

***Update -apparently the bees are being rescued, as of Tuesday evening.

Anyone interested in a possible rescue?

TVBA got this email: There was a snag in Summercrest park that just recently broke and came down in the wind. It contained a honeybee hive, and broke where the hive hollow was. The hive is now down, and the honeybees are most likely loading up in preparation to swarm in case there is anyone interested in collecting/rescuing some now homeless bees.

The location is at the base of the access trail at 167th place and Hargis Road.Feel free to contact me for more details or additional information. Thank you. Kevin Rudd (503) 591-7580
