Cone Escape Boards.

I was surprised that these boards are not readily available. It turns out some joker was given a patent for a cone escape board design and no one wants to contest it. There is nothing unique about the design, common materials with no technology or intelligence included. I don't understand how that qualified for a patent.

In 1.5 days (likely overnight is all that is necessary) this board cleared the box leaving 10-20 bees in the box, half of them flew off when the box was removed, the remaining bees were shown the leaf blower. 1 2 3 done super simple and stressless.

I designed my board before seeing his patent and it turns out my design has much different considerations than the patented board. THe patent has an open design to "keep the honey warm". I call BS, My design creates a barrier that encourages the bees to leave the upper box, it makes a gauntlet or bottleneck to connect with the cluster. It includes bee space on both sides in case of interconnecting comb. The screened area is limited making it much easier to clean and much more sturdy and will better tolerate rough handling.
