Queen Availability?

Had both hives swarm this spring.  Hive 1 is back and doing well.  Hive 2 is not.  The last 2 weeks I have introduced a brood/larva/"thought" eggs frames to the poor-performing hive.  Population may be decreasing less, but am seeing no queen cells/action.

It's getting later in the season, I should be doing less putzing and get a queen in there ASAP, right?  And, so my question  - is there anyone local selling queens?  Did see than Mann Lake has.

    thanks,

Jan, there are plenty of localish queen suppliers. this time of year. Old Sol in So Oregon is a good one. There is Starr Farms as well. Our local active queen producer (to my knowledge) is Steve Gomes, who seems to me quite active on Facebook. So I suggest you might reach out to him on the TVBA group FB page or message him there.  Good idea to be proactive now - way to go.
